Information about commissions
I do commissioned paintings. That means that I can paint a specific subject, being either your favorite animal alone or accompanied by any person portrait.
These paintings can be made from a photo you provide if it is of good quality or by a gathering of pictures to take the essence of what has to be painted. The other possibility is that the pictures are taken by us (my husband is a professional photographer) and this way I can meet in person the different subjects of the future painting. If you choose that option, travel expenses apply.
It can take between one to three months to complete the work.

Pricing for commissions
*Paintings are $2 to $3 per square inch (multiply the height x width x $2 or $3) depending of the degree of difficulty. Minimum price is $600.
*Shipping to be paid by the purchaser.
*Sales tax will be charged if applicable.
*Frames are not included.
*Travel expenses are 40 cents per mile, up to 400 miles round trip from Newport, Vermont. Special arrangements are necessary for longer distances.
Satisfaction guaranteed
If you are not satisfied, you may return the painting up to 15 days after purchase in the original shipping container. Shipping costs cannot be refunded and purchaser must pay return postage. Money will be refunded when painting is returned in good condition.
